Marketing Manager

At Two Oceans Aquarium & Foundation
Reported directly to the CEOs, contributing at an executive level. In a short tenure, I led a team of creatives and external partners on integrated marketing, PR, and brand initiatives, including aspects of the Foundation’s rebrand, website development, and social media engagement.

Marketing Consultant

I supported small businesses, non-profits, and churches with marketing, communications, and administrative needs, from social media and content creation to brand guidance and streamlined processes. These projects sharpened my expertise in resource-limited environments while delivering meaningful impact. During this time, I also pursued biblical studies, grounding my leadership in integrity and purpose, and returning to professional opportunities with renewed focus.

Product Manager

As Product Manager at Edcon for River Island, I oversaw product management, placement, and in-store experience design to boost sales and strengthen brand impact. I successfully launched a new product line, implemented data dashboards to inform pricing and inventory decisions, and led a high-performing team. My work enhanced customer engagement, improved product ratings, and drove measurable revenue growth. 

Marketing and Communications Manager

I established the organization’s first dedicated marketing function, creating a clear vision and strategy to strengthen brand presence, stakeholder engagement, and fundraising. I led a strategic rebranding initiative, revitalized the Foundation’s magazine and newsletter—boosting advertising sales by 215% in six months—and expanded communications across digital channels. I also developed landmark events that attracted international attention and laid the foundation for new global partnerships.

My role spanned business strategy, client relations, creative direction, and operations management.

As part of the executive committee at Molteno, I promoted the organization’s mission, programs, and services to diverse stakeholders while leading national marketing initiatives. I increased brand visibility, drove digital engagement, and built strong partnerships through strategic campaigns and thought leadership. My role spanned marketing strategy, stakeholder engagement, digital content, fundraising events, and mentoring junior professionals.

handling administrative duties, and providing logistical support such as client deliveries and on-site assistance. Gained
hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of an advertising agency and built a strong foundation in marketing
communications and client engagement. 

Resource Mobilization Manager (Fundraiser) 

I reported to the hospital board and led strategies to secure funding, build partnerships, and strengthen communications. I secured diverse funding streams through grants, donations, and events, achieving a 69% major donor retention rate, while also expanding media coverage and stakeholder engagement. My responsibilities included fundraising strategy, partnership development, communications, and event management to support the program’s mission of improving community health and access to care.
